Prabowo's Team: Wants TGPF to investigate the attack on the Baswedan novel not under the police

Kolom Aktual. Coordinator of Spokesperson for National Winning Body Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak said that the public yearned for the formation of a joint fact-finding team (TGPF) to investigate the case of the independent Baswedan novel. The team will not be under the police as the Police Chief of Police, Tito Karnavian, has just formed.

"What is clear is the insistence of civil society from the beginning, handling the attack on the novel through an independent TGPF, not under the police," Dahnil said when contacted on Friday (11/1).

According to Dahnil, the public wanted an independent TGPF because they did not believe the police could reveal the perpetrators of hard water sprinklers on the novel. Even today, there are no bright spots that can satisfy many parties.

"Because from the beginning there was a distrust to the handling of this case. That was also what Mas Novel and his friends repeatedly said," said Dahnil.

Even so, Dahnil said that the Prabowo-Sandi camp was prejudiced regarding the formation of the TGPF. He did not want to mention the team was formed in order to help the incumbent presidential candidate Joko Widodo face the presidential debate.

It is known, KPU held a debate on the first presidential election with the theme of law on law, human rights, corruption and terrorism on January 17. While TGPF was only formed on January 8.

"We are still prejudiced, prejudiced, not prepared to answer questions ahead of the debate," added Dahnil.

Dahnil said his party assumed positively too because the police had been moving to investigate the case of the novel for a long time. Although the perpetrators have not been found, Dahnil still considers the police to have carried out their duties seriously to uncover the case of the Novel.

"Personally I am not in a position to place this case as a political commodity," said Dahnil.

National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian formed a special TGPF to uncover cases of violence experienced by KPK investigators Novel Baswedan. The assignment letter was signed by Tito on January 8.

Tito's consideration formed TGPF in order to follow up on the recommendations of the Novel Baswedan Legal Process Monitoring Team formed by the National Human Rights Commission. TGPF was also formed in the framework of carrying out the task of investigating and investigating criminal acts together.

TGPF itself consists of 65 members. Tito is included in the team. He is in charge of the team. Most TGPF members are members of the police from various units.

There are several names that do not belong to the police. They included Director of Equivalent Institute Hendardi, former Komnas HAM Commissioner Nur Kholis and Ifdhal Kasim, LIPI researcher Hermawan Sulistyo, Amzulian Rivai legal expert, and former Kompolnas commissioner Poengky Indarti.
