This Jakarta Youth Was Found Killed Tortured on the Merbabu Slope

Era Fakta. A young man from Jalan Condet Raya, Gedong, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, was found dead in a yard of Batur Wulung Hamlet, Sawangan Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, Friday (1/11/2019).

The young man named Abdul Rahman (25) was allegedly a victim of persecution by a group of people. The Magelang police apparatus has arrested the perpetrators and is currently under investigation.

"We have arrested the perpetrators, less than 3 hours after we received a report of the discovery of the bodies of the victims," ​​explained Magelang Regional Police Chief AKBP Yudianto Adhi Nugroho, Friday night.

Yudianto explained, the victims were first discovered by residents in a yard in the slope area of ​​Mount Merbabu, in a face down condition.
Receiving reports from residents, members led by AKP Reskrim Unit Chief Bayu Puji Hariyanto went straight to the scene of the crime (TKP) and conducted an investigation.

"Furthermore, the identity of the corpse was named Abdul Rahman, a resident of RT 03, RW 03, Jalan Condet Raya Gang Usin, Gedong, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta," Yudianto said.

When questioned by the police, there were former torture wounds on the victim's face. From the results of the examination and information from a number of witnesses, it was concluded that the victim died as a result of persecution.

"We succeeded in arresting as many as 7 perpetrators of persecution which in turn they will undergo a legal process," Yudianto added.

The perpetrators who have been named suspects are Suratman (49), Romlan (40), Purwanto (37), Tisan Ardiyana (24), and Wahyu Subekti (24) residents of Gondang Legi Hamlet, Ngasem Village, Tegalrejo District, Magelang Regency .

Other suspects were Natanael Abdi Putra (21), a resident of Nuren Hamlet, Purwosari Village, Tegalrejo Subdistrict, Magelang Regency, and Sulis Adi Kusworo (27), a resident of the Jurang Patent Village, Rejowinangun Village, Central Magelang Subdistrict, Magelang City.

"From the results of the initial interrogation, the persecution was carried out by the suspects because of the alleged embezzlement of a motorcycle belonging to the suspect Wahyu Subekti by the victim," he continued.

The police secured evidence of one unit of the four-wheeled Daihatsu Grand Max black motor vehicle Police DD-1076-DB which was allegedly used as a means of transportation when carrying out the persecution.

For his actions, the perpetrators will be charged with Article 170 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code concerning Persecution which resulted in the death of the victim, with a maximum imprisonment of 12 years.
