Two People Arrested by Police Officers Due to 20 Stems of Cannabis Trees Planted in the Yard

Siaran Utama. Police found 20 cannabis trees in the gardens belonging to residents in Dasan Tengak Pekat Hamlet, Jenggala Village, Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Friday (1/11/2019).

Head of North Lombok Police Public Relations Sub-Section, IPTU Sigit Sugijanto confirmed, Kasat Resnarkoba together with Satnoba Drug Members had secured two men who were suspected of planting plants suspected of being cannabis type I narcotics.

"Yes, 20 cannabis trees are one and a half months old, not as big. There are those that thrive, some are moderate and some are lacking," Sigit said on Saturday (1/12/2019).

Disclosure began after the police received information from the public that there was a plant that planted marijuana.

The tree is thought to have been planted in the yard which is approximately 5 acres in the Dasan Tengak Pekat Hamlet, Jenggala Village, North Lombok District. Sigit said, marijuana was deliberately planted by the perpetrators of RN and RA.

The police stated that the tree was a cimeng tree. The perpetrator claimed that the cannabis plant was for self-consumption.

The police are still tracing where the marijuana plant will be traded and where the seeds come from.

"Still being investigated, where the seeds come from," Sigit said.

In addition to securing the perpetrators, the police secured 20 cannabis trees of varying heights, from 45 cm to 196 cm.
